The one word that truly caught my eye was “Stalin.” I am in the UK, a country I love dearly and have no desire to leave. We currently are experiencing a totalitarian attempt to coercively control everything and everyone with technology. I personally do not consider Starmer to be as bad as Stalin, to me he is just a WEF puppet reading globalist scripts. I am looking forward to the day when you Mattias have the time to really study what is going on in the UK and give us your thoughts. My philosophy has always been “Everything is temporary” but, there feels like there is a truly demonic undercurrent with this current Labour government and, my fear is that some nonsense rules and regulations will become law and stick.

Mattais, as you are hinting i think, Trump shows just as many signs of a totalitarian as anyone. Among other thing, he will use the migrant crisis hyperbole to usher in a police state snd digital ID, as well as the war machine continuing its project of 'greater israel' in the middle east. The Chosen One has come. This is a frightening consideration indeed. Zionism is possible in all religions and philosophies, of course. Hope you get a chance to correspond with Dr Iain McGilchrist - and hopefully do another show with Ryan Christian of TLAV. There are precious few with out there with true fidelity to personal and social integrity, truth be told....

Mr. Trump is supported by the same big donors as the Dems. Like our politicians they play both sides. He talks a message many yearn for. A restoration of freedoms and prosperity free of current constraints. From what I can discern he is like a third world strong man, a lot of bluster that ends in more oppression. Complete reformation of our system needs to come about for real change to occur.

“To speak of true democracy, the majority must therefore respect the fundamental rights of minorities—freedom of expression, self-determination, etc”

This is true.

And where does this idea come from?

The Hindu perspective of Karma and reincarnation easily accepts the caste system where the impoverished of our society are getting what they deserve. Islam accepts the suffering and seeming injustice around us saying, “Allah wills”.

Buddha teaches a goal of freedom from desire by passivity, not by decisive action.

In contrast, Christ, brings God’s gracious kindness to the poor, the sick, the sorrowful, the weak, the suffering. Only with that worldview underlying society can democracy function for good.

"Trump, with his ‘Operation Warp Speed,’ was to some extent complicit in this; with Kennedy by his side, he has a chance to rectify this. I hope he seized it."

Thanks for your optimism. Fantastic summary that, as always, just looks deeper and with an open heart.

The question is: Will those who write the big cheques for Trump's campaign, including some very rich Jews, allow a potential move towards the light by Trump?

Enemy of my enemy is my friend? Your critics of Democratic Party applies as well to Trump and Republican Party. The one who is in the power in the USA controls the media, uses desinformation to own advantage and applies the same principles of totalitarian regimes. Trump is by no means a better choice for democracy. In any definition of the word. It seems that you have a short memory and have forgotten how he has abused his power and the system in the USA on the huge scale.

Fair enough. I see your point and think it´s valid. My two cents is that while the capture is not complete with Trump, while the DNC is totally overrun. Their leaders are puppets to the authoritarian machine.

But yeah, we should be wary of "the lesser evil" for sure.

And also, I heard Iain McGilchrist compliment your book Psychology of Totalitarianism some time ago. I assume you are aware of his profoundly important work? The reorientation to the world through right brain hemisphere is imperative.

Are you referring here to enantiodromia? Increasingly I see it everywhere in the world.

I share your optimism except with regard to Trump and Kennedy's attitudes toward Israel and the future of Palestine

The two parties flank the people. They need each other because they are both controlled opposition. In preference I'd rather be around Republicans, just because you can still have a conversation with most of them while having a certain amount of disagreement. However, it's becoming crystal clear that this is non-conventional warfare against all of us. Particularly to squash anyone who doesn't hang out at the feed troughs of left or right wing.

The Democrat party is unrecognizable. That's why people started calling it the Democrat party as opposed to the Democratic Party--there is nothing democratic about it. All politicians are corrupt. In my opinion, anyone who wants to be President of the U.S. has a screw loose. I think it's great Zuckerberg finally told the truth. I'd like to think it wa because he had a come to Jesus moment but I don't think so. Either way, it's something. I agree that we are on the precipice of a political shift unlike anything we have ever seen. Let's hope it goes in the way you and I and many others would like! Thanks for your post Mattias! sabrinalabow.substack.com
